BRIAN FORRESTER - Writer
Brian Forrester is a writer based in Los Angeles. He received an MFA in dramatic writing from Carnegie Mellon University. His play The Beast of Skitter Creek is a semifinalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center 2012 National Playwrights Conference. His screenplay Shoulders of Giants was a finalist for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Screenwriting Competition. Aspen Theater Masters chose his play We Had Plans for the National MFA Playwrights Festival, and his one-act play The Apocalypse of Jeremiah was a festival selection at The Puzzle: Marble’s Festival of New York. www.brianforrester.net
MAX MONTEL - Director
Max Montel has directed numerous plays up and down the East coast before moving to Los Angeles. New York credits include the OOBR Award winning production of Ibsen’s John Gabriel Borkman at the Century Center and the New York premiere of the full-length version of James McLure’s Pvt Wars, and co-producing An Evening with Brecht, Fo and Pinter for which he also directed Fo’s One Was Nude and One Wore Tails. Regional credits include Robert Schenkkan’s Tall Tales at Williamstown, Edward Chodorov’s Kind Lady and Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys at the Monomoy Theater, and several one acts at the City Theatre in Miami. He has worked extensively with new plays by writers such as Scott C. Sickles, Eric Sanders, and Alex Lewin at New York’s WorkShop Theatre Company, Emerging Artists Theater and Workingman’s Clothes. Max holds an MFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University.
CANDACE D. BREKKA - Producer & Production Manager
Candace D. Brekka combines years of design experience with an equal amount of time and passion working on the management side of the arts. With a degree in Production Management and Set Design from Carnegie Mellon University, she embraces creative projects with a keen eye for content and quality. Her experience on both coasts ranges from large-scale event planning to design coordinating for film and television. Currently based in Los Angeles,Candace has worked onNBC’s Love Bites, ABC’s Billboard Music Awards and CBS’s Criminal Minds, and is tailoring her career towards producing movies and television. www.candacedbrekka.com
MEG CUNNINGHAM - Graphics & Set Designer
A native of Southern California, Meg Cunningham has combined a bachelors degree in Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a masters in Set Design from Carnegie Mellon University to explore her love of architectural space and narrative storytelling. www.megcunningham.com
